MUSTAFA, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Imagine being out and you meet someone new and as you are getting to know each other they ask you what you do for work? You answer content creator for video games. Their eyes say it all. “So you just play video games all day?” You reply “Yes and people can subscribe to your channel to support you.” They ALWAYS reply “Who would want to watch someone play video games?”
People do not realize that just 10 years ago the same question was asked about reality TV. “Who would want to watch someone in their house or driving around town arguing with each other or shopping?”
There is such a huge industry of gaming that is moving so fast and speeding by peoples eyes without even realizing the opportunities they hold. Most people judge you if you say you play games all day to entertain people and you are happy when they are miserable in their day to day.
The biggest risk I have taken was doing someone most of the world did not believe in knowing people would not believe in me overall. A lot comes with that, and most importantly you need to able to be proud of yourself knowing most will not be happy or understand your decision to be happy in something most of the world still does not see as a mature thing to do.
MUSTAFA, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am known as Moose to most in the gaming world! I have a passion to make people smile and have a really good knack for it if I say so myself. I have always had so much fun gaming from the N64 to the Xbox, Ps4, and now PC. I love the technology side of it all as technology is a huge passion for myself. Gaming combines everything I love into one; competitiveness, technology, community, laughter, and camaraderie.
What sets me apart from others is I will always be the person who goes the extra mile to make sure whatever I set my heart to is take care of in every way possible. Anyone who knows me knows they can always count on me and lean on me in any given situation.
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
A big goal for myself is to become a Youtube or Twitch Partner and be able to entertain people on a larger level!
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect so far has been seeing someones life changed because of something I did. I have had people reach out and just wanna vent about life and talk knowing that I can’t fix everything but can be empathetic with whatever is going on and guide them in the right direction.
